Some workshops are scheduled at particular times, while others run all day. Please pay close attention to the details. Bicycle Maintenance - 45 min/ 9:30am and 12:00pmA hands on approach to basic bicycle repair. It will cover the follwing: tire/tube replacement, lubrication of bicycle, minor derailler adjustments, minor brake adj, and question and answer.
Square Foot Gardening- 45 min/ 10:30am and 1:00pm
Join Homegrown Edible Landscaping Company for a raised garden bed workshop. Learn about the benefits of raised bed and square foot gardening, planting techniques, and simple ways to extend the growing season to enjoy a four season harvest. This workshops is FREE, but if you reserve a kit and pay $60 you can leave with your own 4' by 4' raised bed at the end of the workshop. Rain Barrels - 45 min/ 9:30am and 12:00pm
Interested in collecting rainwater, but not sure where to start? Join us as we assemble the barrels and discuss reasons for water collection. This workshop is FREE, but if you reserve a kit for $40 you can leave with your own! We use recycled, food-grade barrels from a local source, and each barrel comes with netting to prevent mosquitoes.
